Based on her work and research, Dr. Du has
published several research papers on using
acupuncture to treat such problems as chronic
gastritis, stroke, migraine headaches, chronic
fatigue syndrome, and prostatitis. Since moving to
Atlanta in 2000, Dr. Du has worked with many
other medical doctors and health providers in
treating patients. For four years Dr. Du was a
professor at Edgewood College of Oriental
Medicine in Atlanta and guided students in clinical
practice. Now she concentrates on treating private
patients and specializes in Acupuncture, Chinese
herb medicine, Acupressure, Tui Na Medical
Massage, Auricular Therapy, Gua Sha, and cupping
therapy. Dr. Du’s goal is to help people with
illnesses and disabilities to regain balance and
happiness in their lives.
Dr. Li Du was a professor at the first Teaching
Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM, in China.

Dr. Li Du is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor
(TCMD) and an acupuncturist licensed by the State
of Georgia (L.Ac). She has been a professor of
oriental medicine in Atlanta and is currently a
board member of the Traditional Chinese
Medicine Association of Georgia. She has over 28
years of experience in the practice of Alternative
Medicine. Dr. Du graduated from the Tian Jin
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in
China. There she studied both traditional Chinese
medicine and western biomedicine. After receiving
her medical degree in 1986, Dr. Du worked in the
University’s First Teaching Hospital. That hospital’s
Acupuncture Research Center enjoys an
international reputation for its treatment of
apoplexy with acupuncture. During her 14 years at
that hospital, Dr. Du treated her patients with a
unique combination of western and eastern
medicines and methods. She participated in
numerous research projects for treating stroke,
paralysis, prostatitis, gastritis, and colitis patients
with acupuncture and Chinese herb medicine.
While at the Tian Jin University, she also served as
a Lead Doctor in teaching traditional Chinese
medicine and worked extensively in acupuncture,
internal medicine, and gynecology.
